Celebrating 50 Years of Priesthood

August 9, 2022Fr. Paul Coury recently celebrated 50 years as a priest with a group of friends at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Whittier, CA.
Reflecting on five decades of priestly ministry, Fr. Paul said that he has always loved the freedom to be a creative person, especially in retreat ministry.
“I was blessed with an artistic ability which I have used most of my life, and I enjoyed using that creative ability in the many retreats, workshops and talks that I was asked to give. I am very grateful to God for blessing me with those gifts, and I hope that I have used them well,” he said.
