Deacon Michael Thien Hoang, C.Ss.R. Ordained to the Priesthood

August 12, 2023Congratulations to our new Redemptorist priest, Fr. Michael Hoang, C.Ss.R., who was ordained to the priesthood on July 29 in San Antonio, TX. Cardinal Joe Tobin, C.Ss.R. presided at the Ordination Mass.
On Sunday July 30, Fr. Hoang celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving at Holy Vietnamese Martyrs Church in Austin, TX surrounded by Redemptorists, local clergy, family, friends and parishioners. Holy Vietnamese Martyrs is Fr. Thien's home parish, where his father is Deacon.
Please keep Fr. Hoang in your prayers as he continues to humbly serve Christ. His first assignment as a Catholic Priest will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Chicago.
