St. Gerard's Celebrates Summer Picnic

July 5, 2023St. Gerard held its 43rd Parish Festival June 2-4, 2023. Summer does not begin with Memorial Day in Lima; it starts with the St. Gerard Festival. We had another successful turnout, with the weather being hot for this time of the year.
Plenty of rides and games entertained the young and the old for two and a half days. Of course, we had our famous chicken wings, other food, drinks, and live entertainment from local bands.
We are so blessed to have many volunteers in booths, such as the cake wheel, bingo, pot of gold, and food and drink tents.
We especially thank our core team Andrea Patton, Kelly Stolly, Steve Shutt, and Lisa and Jason Davis, who worked to organize this event month in advance.
The funds raised are used to support the parish and its school.
