Autumn Come and See Weekend Held in the Bronx

September 27, 2021The North American Vocations Team sponsored a “Come and See” weekend September 23-26 at Formation House in the Bronx, New York. There were seven vocation prospects in attendance for the Baltimore and Denver Provinces.
On Friday, September 24, prospects visited St. John’s University, along with students already in Redemptorist formation. All students attend St. John’s for their undergraduate education. Following the visit to St. John’s, prospects were given a tour of Manhattan.
On Saturday, September 25, prospects made a daylong retreat at San Alfonso Retreat House in Long Branch, New Jersey. They returned to the Bronx on Sunday morning for Mass and closure of the weekend.
Candidates present were Eric Monahan, Patrick Blasdell, Tuan Anh, Dang Nguyen, Curtis Akerley for Baltimore Province and Dat Nguyen, Cody Hill and Andrew Nguyen for Denver Province.
