Redemptorists Celebrate 100 Years Pastoring St. Mary's

The St. Mary of the Assumption Parish community in Whittier, California, celebrated 100 years of a Redemptorist presence with a Feast of the Assumption Mass and gathering last weekend.

Present were Redemptorists Fr. Patrick Keyes, Pastor; Mexican confreres Fr. Manuel Chavez, Fr. Roberto Morales and Fr. Paco Colunga and Fr. Agustin Cantú; parishioners received commemorative booklets to peruse; also present was Deacon Dennis Lee, who grew up in the parish.
