Redemptorists World-Wide Celebrate the Feast of St. Alphonsus

August 1, 2022The Redemptorist family and universal church are preparing to celebrate the feast of Saint Alphonsus Maria de Ligorio, founder of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, on August 1.
Saint Alphonsus reminds us that the relationship with God is essential in our lives. Without the relationship with God, the fundamental relationship is missing. Today he inspires us with his personal holiness and his closeness to Jesus Christ. We too want to follow Jesus Christ our Redeemer as he brings the divine word of copious redemption to the poor of today.
